Welcome Message
HARVESTING IN SEASON AND OUT OF SEASON
Preach the word !Be ready in season and out of season-2 Timothy 4v2a
To reap the ripen harvest that we see both in the cities and interiors of nations, we have to press beyond the scheduled outreaches. We have come to a time and a season when believers must be in tune with what the Spirit is saying to the Church than ever.
The Lord will lead to the city and also may terminate such so called ministerial breakthrough and lead to a jungle for harvesting of souls because of what He wants to do.
Acts 8v4-8 show to us clearly the great revival God wrought through Evangelist Philip in Samaria
Verse 8 says And there was great joy in that City Halleluyah! It’s my prayer that God will bring Joy to Nations through our missions thrust in Jesus name.
But beyond what we are currently celebrating, God may be calling us to what may seem to be unattractive in human definition of ministry and this is where many miss God’s mind on being instant in season and out of season. In Acts 8v26-40 we saw a senario on how the Spirit of God led him to a desert to speak just to one person.
That encounter opened up a continient to the gospel.
May you hear and obey God at the time you least prepare. There will always be a cry from Macedonia but it can only be heard by men that will open up to the leading of the Spirit. Acts 16v9
Although God called Philip away from the city revival to reach one man but at the end of the day it open up the beginning of getting a continient.
As we plan for organised outreaches, we must be ready to hear and obey God for outreaches that comes as a prompting by the Holy Spirit and most times its one on one.
God bless!
